IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light; it’s used to treat uneven pigmentation by stimulating skin cell growth. Pixel skin resurfacing targets the affected area with a laser beam, removing the topmost layer of skin and stimulating new cell growth.

Pixel Lasers

Pixel also stimulates collagen growth, leading to firmer, more flexible skin and fewer wrinkles in the treated area.

Who is the Best Candidate for Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

IPL is most effective for patients with lighter skin tones. It’s used to address acne, birthmarks, stretch marks, and skin discoloration.

Pixel laser resurfacing works well on all skin types. It’s used to address many of the same conditions as IPL and can help to eliminate scarring and other blemishes not addressed by other treatments.
